The backboard has Casino grade pyramid diamond rubber.  This is the same diamond rubber that is used in the Casinos.  The diamonds are three quarters of an inch (3/4") with seven rows of diamonds.  The backboard is approximately 11 1/2" tall and 16" wide.  This is tall enough so when the practice dice are thrown, they usually do not bounce over the back.  In a casino, the distance from the chip rack to the table on most craps tables is  about eleven inches (11"). The deck is  wide enough so the shooter can throw more than one set of dice without retrieving each toss.    

The two base panels are approximately 11 3/4" by 16" wide.  The width varies a little as they are cut to match the diamond rubber.  The felt top is permanently attached.  The rig also comes with an additional piece of press-on felt you can incorporate to get a different bounce.  In addition, the base can be reversed so that the bare wood bottom side can become the top side and the magnets will STILL adhere appropriately.  This is so the shooter can add his or her own variation of bounce, for instance, installing Microfiber or a different nap of felt. To change the bounce on a Big Rig, one can add newspaper or cloth or closed cell rubber between the press on felt and the glued on felt.  Whatever it takes to match the bounce of the craps table at your favorite casino.
